Yes. We install and own the system - hardware, permits, everything - at no cost to you. What you agree to is purchasing the electricity those panels produce at 30% below your utility's current rate, for 25 years. If the system ever underperforms, we cover the shortfall. You never own the equipment; it's never your financial responsibility.
There isn't one. The program is a Power Purchase Agreement - you're buying electricity at a discounted rate, not financing equipment. Credit scores aren't relevant to eligibility.
The agreement transfers to the new homeowner. In most transactions, a guaranteed 30% lower electric rate is a selling point. We handle the transfer paperwork.
One day on-site for panels and battery. Full process - from application to your meter being switched on - runs about 21 days.
This pilot is specifically funded for 300 Maryland systems. When that allocation fills, applications close. We'll post waitlist details here when that happens.
